Summary

  • This is a self-paced course.

  • Can be commenced at ANY TIME throughout the year.
  • Consists of 6 modules which encompass 16 competencies.
  • Is Part 1 of the Diploma of Financial Services qualification.
  • Assessed by module assignments (NO EXAMS); as well as on-the-job assessment by a Workplace Supervisor.
  • Assignments can be undertaken online or paper based.
  • Students must obtain 80% to pass each module.
  • Course fee - $1,800. (A 6-month x $300 credit card instalment plan is available.)
  • A Top Student Award consisting of a plaque and $500 is presented to the person who achieves the highest overall mark in this qualification in 2010.

Who Should Enrol?

  • have staff they want to mentor and reward by offering them a Nationally Recognised Qualification
  • want to develop their supervisory or customer service staff and assist them to deliver a more professional level of input to the business
  • want a better standard of staff compared with the competition
  • have staff who may qualify as New Entrant and/or Existing Worker Trainees
     

From an employee’s perspective, those who:

  • want to attain a Nationally Recognised Qualification
  • have attained their School Certificate, HSC or an equivalent qualification
  • are employed in the financial services industry and generally would have at least one year’s work experience
  • are in a supervisory role or aspire to such a role and want to be more effective in their job
  • are in a customer or member service role and have a desire to be more professional
